Apple announced last week that it has already sold over 1 million ipads in the US and has had over 12 million ipad apps downloaded. Today, it announced that on May 28th, the iPad will be released in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
Pre-orders start online from the Apple Store on May 10, 2010.
The suggested retail prices released are $549 (CAN) for 16GB, $649 (CAN) for 32GB, $749 (CAN) for 64GB for Wi-Fi models and $679 (CAN) for 16GB, $779 (CAN) for 32GB and $879 (CAN) for 64GB for Wi-Fi + 3G models.
